Mohra is an Indian Hindi-language action thriller film. Vishal, a prisoner, is released from jail and hired by Mr. Jindal to eliminate criminals of two rival gangs. Vishal starts killing the criminals one by one until Amar, an honest police officer, comes in his way. A journalist comes to the aid of the murderer (Vishal), with a life sentence when she makes an appeal in court and although he is given his freedom, they soon discover that there is a grim reason behind his release. The film went on to become the second highest-grossing Indian film of 1994 and was declared a Blockbuster. The film received nine Filmfare nominations in 1995. The film is also remembered for its songs which became chartbusters in that year.
